Gowri Exports, since its establishment in 2005, has been dealing in aloe vera health drinks, fresh vegetables and Indian spices.
Aloe Vera is a species of Aloe which is mainly found in northern Africa. Aloe Vera is known as a miracle plant which is a derivative of nature. It is made up of a large variety of amino acids, enzymes, vitamins and minerals. Aloe Vera comes closer than any other known plant to the duplication of life’s essential substances in the biochemistry of the human body.
It is also known as Vulgaris Lam or Barbadensis Mill. It is a very short-stemmed or stemless succulent plant which can grow up to a height of 80-100 cm, spreading by offsets and root sprouts. The leaves of Aloe Vera are lance-shaped, thick and fleshy, green and grey-green in color.
The cultivation of Aloe Vera is done throughout the subtropical and drier tropical regions of the world and used for herbal medicine and as an ornamental plant.
Aloe Vera Medicinal Uses
Aloe Vera can be used externally to treat various skin conditions such as cuts, burns, and eczema. The sap from Aloe Vera eases pain and reduces inflammation. Cosmetic companies add sap or other derivatives from Aloe Vera to products such as makeup, moisturizers, soaps, sunscreens, shampoos and lotions.
Aloe Vera Juice
Aloe Vera juice is a pure extract from the Aloe Vera plant, processed to provide a juice that has high health benefit properties. Aloe Vera juice helps reduce constipation, coughs, wounds, ulcers, diabetes, cancer, headaches, arthritis, immune-system deficiencies, and many other conditions.
Aloe Vera juice is high in calcium content that gives strength to bones, teeth and prevents Osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is the silent disease that makes bones weak and prone to fracture.
Rheumatoid arthritis causes stiff, swollen joints with varying degrees of associated pain caused partly due to nerve damage and partly by the pressure of the swollen area. Aloe Vera helps in repairing damaged tissue by regenerating cells. It not only relieves the painful symptoms but also helps to disperse damaged tissue – a type of detoxification process.
Aloe Vera juice is a stimulant to the immune system, a powerful anti- inflammatory, an analgesic and is able to speed up cell growth. Aloe Vera contains a large number of mucopolysaccharides (basic sugars) which are found in every cell in the body. Aloe also contains large numbers of nutrients including vitamins E, C, B1, 2, 3, and 6 as well as iron, manganese, calcium and zinc. Seven essential amino acids and fatty acids are also found in Aloe Vera.
Aloe Vera juice has natural healing and detoxifying powers and works gently within the intestinal tract to help break down impacted food residues and thoroughly cleanse the bowel. It can help ease constipation and prevent continuing diarrhea, setting regularity to the bowel. All this helps to reduce discomfort and bloating. Naturally, as these symptoms are eased, the stress associated with the discomfort is also reduced.

Quality Assurance
Gowri Exports is certified with ISO9001: 2000 and Good Manufacturing Practices from department of Ayush (GMP no R1721-AYUA). A study for the production of aloe vera gel, juice accompanied with analysis of quality and safety assurance reveals that the control points for safety were addition of vitamin C and citric acid, and pasteurization; the control points for quality were reception of raw materials, filleting operation, grinding or homogenization, pectolytic enzyme addition, filtration, addition of vitamin C and citric acid, dearation, pasteurization, flash cooling, and storage. Preventative measures were proposed and critical control limits were determined at the same time.
Vegetable Cultivation
We are doing the fresh vegetables cultivation by our own with well experienced Agri officers and farmers. We are taking the contract cultivation for fresh vegetables based on customer requirements.
